Botanical name: Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis

Origin: The Almond tree is native to the Middle East and South Asia, but has since been cultivated in several other areas, including Southern Europe and warmer parts of the United States.

Colour and odour: Colourless to pale yellow. Odourless.

Texture: Very light oil.

Sweet almond oil is very similar to peach and apricot kernel. It is suitable for nourishing dry skin and also for other skin ailments such as eczema and dermatitis. It also has mild anti-inflammatory properties.
