Cajeput Essential Oil is used to treat colds, headaches, and toothaches. It is highly effective in fighting bacterial, viral, and fungal infections, such as tetanus (bacteria), the flu (virus), and infectious diseases such as cholera and typhoid fever.

Cajeput oil is highly effective at killing and repelling insects. Its insecticidal properties are so strong that a diluted solution can be sprayed or vaporized using a spray bottle to keep mosquitoes, ants, and many other types of pests out of rooms. A diluted solution of cajeput oil can also be rubbed on the body to keep insects away.

Like eucalyptus oil, cajeput oil is also an excellent decongestant and expectorant. As a decongestant, it provides immediate relief for congestion in the nose, throat, and other respiratory organs, as well as for coughs, infections, and resulting throat inflammation.

It is analgesic in nature, meaning that it reduces the sensation of pain. When applied locally, such as to an infected tooth in the case of a toothache, or rubbed on the forehead in the case of a headache. Apply only in highly diluted solutions.
